Veronica Zorrilla's practice is concentrated on securities law and Nasdaq matters, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and general corporate matters. Ms. Zorrilla also advises companies with respect to executive and employee compensation matters, including employment, non-competition and severance agreements and equity compensation plans. Ms. Zorrilla represents both public and private companies in a variety of industries, including venture capital, supply-chain management, aviation, biotech, software, technology and Internet companies. Ms. Zorrilla joined the firm in 2004.
Prior to joining BRL Law Group LLC, Ms. Zorrilla served as Business Law Counsel to the Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and its parent company, Ahold U.S.A., Inc., where she represented the companies in connection with a wide range of commercial agreements.
Previously, Ms. Zorrilla was an associate in the Corporate Department of Choate, Hall & Stewart, where she represented clients in a wide range of transactions and ongoing matters including initial and follow-on public offerings of stock, debt and equity financings and private equity buyout transactions.
Ms. Zorrilla received her J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and received her B.S. in psychology from the University of Florida.
