Tom Rosedale is the co-founder and managing member of BRL Law Group LLC. Mr. Rosedale co-founded the firm (originally known as Browne Rosedale & Lanouette LLP) in 2002. Mr. Rosedale's practice is focused primarily on securities law and Nasdaq matters, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, general corporate matters and real estate transactions. Mr. Rosedale's clients include venture capital funds and public and private companies in a variety of industries, including software, biotech and medical device, aviation, student travel, venture capital and supply-chain management.
Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Rosedale served as Associate General Counsel of CMGI, Inc., where he provided full legal support to CMGI and several subsidiaries. Mr. Rosedale also served as Vice President and General Counsel of AltaVista Company and served as a member of AltaVista's executive staff. Mr. Rosedale continues to represent CMGI and several of its former subsidiaries.
Previously, Mr. Rosedale was an associate at national law firms, where he advised clients on an ongoing and transactional basis in the areas of general corporate and securities law, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Rosedale is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization. He was also named a "Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star" in securities and corporate finance in the May 2005, 2006 and 2007 editions of Boston Magazine. Mr. Rosedale serves on the board of directors of AMD Global Telemedicine, Inc., a worldwide leading supplier of medical devices used in telemedicine.
Mr. Rosedale received his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and received his B.S., magna cum laude, in finance from Bryant College.
