Kate MacGregor's practice concentrates in the areas of general corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, corporate governance, public company representation, executive and employee compensation matters, and general business and corporate planning for various business entities. Ms. MacGregor represents both public and private companies in a variety of industries, including technology and other emerging growth areas. Ms. MacGregor also represents private equity funds and venture capital firms in connection with investments and buy-out transactions. Ms. MacGregor joined the firm in 2007.
Previously, Ms. MacGregor was an associate at the law firms of Choate, Hall & Stewart in Boston, Massachusetts and Hinckley, Allen & Snyder in Concord, New Hampshire. From 2001 to 2005, Ms. MacGregor also served as Senior Counsel for Finance and Global Operations at Hasbro, Inc., where she provided legal support to the Corporate Finance, Treasury, Tax, Credit and Collections, Information Services, Logistics and Purchasing departments, including management of transactions, drafting and review of documents, and general legal advice and counsel.
Ms. MacGregor is a graduate of Cornell Law School and Dartmouth College, and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
